The EslicerPro Guarantee

Airlines don't charge you for what you wear. We'll back that with a refund.

Travellers have been layering up at the gate to dodge baggage charges for years. We built this coat around that idea, and we're willing to put money behind it. Every claim is reviewed properly. Genuine claims get refunded quickly. Fabricated ones don't.

We wouldn't have built it if it didn't work.

We wouldn't have taken this product through design, sampling and repeated prototype rounds if we weren't confident you can wear this coat onto a commercial flight without paying for it.

So we're putting our own money behind it. If an airline makes you check the coat, charges you a fee for it, or refuses to board you because of it, you get your money back. Every claim is verified before approval — that's what keeps the promise worth something for the people making honest claims.

What the guarantee covers.

If an airline forces you to remove the coat, requires you to check it as baggage, charges a fee for it, or denies you boarding specifically because of the coat, we refund the full amount you paid for it.

The refund goes back to your original payment method. Not store credit, not a partial amount, not a voucher — the full purchase price, once your claim is verified.

What we need from you.

All three items below are required, and they need to describe the same flight. A claim missing an item, or where the details don't line up, can't be approved.

1. Video recorded at the boarding gate

A clear, unedited clip of the gate agent stating that they're refusing boarding, requiring you to check the coat, or charging a fee because of it. The airline name and gate number need to be visible. Footage recorded in the cabin by crew doesn't qualify — it has to be at the gate.

2. The fee receipt or the bag tag

If you were charged, a photo of the receipt showing the amount and the airline. If you were forced to check the coat, a photo of the airline's bag tag attached to it. This is what confirms the incident happened on an actual flight.

3. Your boarding pass

A photo of the boarding pass for that same flight, showing the airline, flight number, date and booking reference. This lets us tie the other two items to a real booking.

Send all three to support@eslicerpro.com with your order number in the subject line, within 30 days of the flight.

How we verify a claim.

By submitting a claim you authorise us to check the incident and the flight details you've given us, including with the airline where that's possible. We review the video, the documentation and the booking details together.

If everything checks out, we approve and refund — normally within 8 business days of verification. If the documentation is incomplete, doesn't match, or can't be verified, we'll tell you why and what's missing so you can resubmit.

On falsified claims: submitting edited, staged or fabricated documentation is fraud. It voids the guarantee permanently, forfeits any refund, and may be reported to our payment provider and the relevant authorities. We'd rather not, so please don't.

How we handle your documents: the material you send contains personal data. We use it only to assess your claim, we don't share it with anyone beyond the airline concerned and our payment provider where verification requires it, and we delete it within 12 months of the claim closing. Full detail is in our privacy policy.

The fine print, in plain language.

This covers airline decisions made at the gate. It doesn't cover airport security, customs, or a crew member asking you to take the coat off for comfort once you're seated. It also doesn't cover situations where you'd packed restricted items inside it — oversized liquids or loose batteries, for instance.

It has to be worn as a coat when you board. If you convert it into the duffle and carry it, it's a bag, and airlines are entitled to charge for bags. Fees on the deployed duffle aren't covered. What we're promising is that you can wear the coat onto the aircraft — not that you can carry luggage for free.

It has to be packed sensibly. The coat is built to hold what a person can reasonably wear and carry on their body. Overloading it to the point where it no longer wears or functions like a normal coat isn't covered.

One claim per customer, per order. The refund covers the coat itself. Flights, accommodation, missed connections and other travel costs aren't included — those aren't within our control.

This is in addition to your legal rights.

The guarantee on this page is a voluntary commercial guarantee offered by EslicerPro. It sits on top of your statutory rights as a consumer in the European Union and does not limit or replace them in any way.

Regardless of anything above, you keep your right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason, and your right to a remedy if the product doesn't conform to what was described for two years from delivery. Details are in our return policy and terms of service.

We built this because nobody should be penalised for packing well. Wear it with confidence. If it genuinely lets you down at the gate and you can show us, we owe you your money back.
